Photos & Video of North Korea’s successful Satellite Launch

North Korea on Sunday successfully placed the Kwangmyongsong-4 Earth Observation Satellite into orbit, achieving its second successful orbital space launch. The three-stage Unha-type booster launched from the Sohae Satellite Launching Station at 0:30 UTC and released the spacecraft nine minutes and 46 seconds after launch. North Korea’s latest space endeavor was met with harsh international criticism as the launch is seen as a clear violation of UN Resolutions banning the country from carrying out long-range missile tests.
