Video: Morning Liftoff by H-IIA with Final QZS Navigation Satellite

Japan’s H-IIA rocket lifted off from Tanegashima Island at 22:01:37 UTC on October 9, 2017 with the fourth Quasi-Zenith Satellite, the last member of the QZSS satellite constellation dedicated to delivering reliable and accurate GPS navigation augmentation to users in Japan’s canyon-like city streets and aviators across the Asia-Pacific Region. Completing its fifth successful satellite delivery of the year, H-IIA dispatched Michibiki-4 into a highly elliptical transfer orbit 28.5 minutes after its early morning liftoff.
