Progress MS-07 is the 160th overall mission of the Russian cargo vehicle and the 70th to the International Space Station; it is the third and last Progress flight in 2017. The mission planned to utilize a new two-orbit rendezvous technique, but had to revert to the traditional two-day flight profile when moving to its backup launch slot due to a last-minute countdown abort Oct. 12.
