Photos: Vega Rocket blasts off from French Guiana with Turkish Imaging Satellite
Europe’s Vega rocket blasts off from the Guiana Space Center on its year-closing mission, thundering into mostly clear skies with the Göktürk-1A imaging satellite that will give the Turkish Ministry of Defence its sharpest eye in the sky for the collection of reconnaissance and Earth observation imagery.
