Photos: PSLV Rocket thunders off with India’s 1st Astronomy Satellite
Impressive photos released by the Indian Space Research Organization show Monday morning's blastoff of the PSLV rocket carrying AstroSat and six secondary payloads. PSLV made a flawless climb into a 650-Kilometer orbit for the release of all payloads 25 minutes after liftoff.
