Photos: GSAT-9 readies for Liftoff

India’s GSAT-9 communications satellite, also known as South Asia Sat, undergoes final pre-launch processing before being shipped to the Satish Dhawan Space Center for propellant loading, encapsulation and installation atop its ride to space, a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mk.II. The 2,230-Kilogram satellite carries in all Ku-Band payload to deliver television distribution to India and the SAARC states.
