A Russian Soyuz FG rocket will be tasked with lifting the Progress MS-10 cargo spacecraft into orbit for a supplies delivery to the International Space Station. Progress MS-10 is the 163rd overall mission of the Russian cargo vehicle since its first flight in 1978 and the 73rd to the International Space Station; it is the third of three planned Progress flights in 2018. The mission was switched from a Soyuz 2-1A rocket to the Soyuz FG version to free up a 2-1A vehicle for the inaugural flight of the crewed Soyuz MS spacecraft on the modernized Soyuz 2 in 2019.
