A Japanese H-IIB rocket will launch the seventh H-II Transfer Vehicle on a six-day rendezvous with the International Space Station under Japan’s obligations to deliver supplies to the orbiting laboratory and its six crew members. HTV-7 will deliver around four metric tons of pressurized cargo and 1.9 metric tons in its Unpressurized Logistics Carrier, carrying the second set of six Lithium-Ion batteries to ISS for installation on the external truss of the complex in a ongoing effort to outfit the spacecraft for its last decade of operations.
