Photos: MISSE-FF Payload Processing for SpX-13 Launch
The Materials on ISS Flight Facility (MISSE-FF) undergoes pre-launch processing at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida in preparation for launch in the Trunk Section of the Dragon SpX-13 cargo spacecraft. Taking up residence on the Space Station’s truss segment, MISSE-FF will provide a state-of-the-art exposure facility, allowing different industries to deploy samples into the unique space environment to study their degradation under extreme thermal variations, radiation influx, ultraviolet radiation and micro-debris hits.
