Photos: Sentinel-3B Launch Campaign at Plesetsk

Europe’s Sentinel3B Satellite, set to become the newest addition to the Copernicus satellite fleet, arrives at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Russia for a multi-week launch processing campaign, beginning with final checkouts of the 1,250-Kilogram satellite to ensure it was in good shape after its transfer from France. Sentinel-3B was then loaded with maneuvering propellant for its 7+ -year mission and took its position atop the Briz-KM upper stage that will boost it into an 800-Kilometer orbit. The encapsulated stack was then moved to Site 133/3 for installation atop the Rockot Booster.
