Photos: Minotaur IV Prepares for first Cape Canaveral Launch

Orbital ATK prepares a modified Minotaur IV rocket for liftoff from Space Launch Complex 46 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station to deliver the ORS-5 mission for the U.S. Air Force. The launch was moved to the Florida launch site due to orbital requirements as the SensorSat main payload requires an equator-hugging orbit to fulfill its mission of tracking activity in Geostationary Orbit, home to the world’s communications and weather satellites.
