Falcon 9 Rocket Launch & Landing in Photos

SpaceX achieved a successful landing of a Falcon 9 booster stage Monday night, coming back from the edge of space after sending the rocket’s second stage on its way to deliver a group of 11 satellites for communications provider Orbcomm. These photos show the rocket blasting off from Space Launch Complex 40 and the successful return of the first stage to Landing Zone 1, just nine Kilometers south of the launch pad.
