Photos: Atlas V Rocket Rolls out for NASA TDRS-M Launch

A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket rolls from its assembly facility to the launch pad at Space Launch Complex 41, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on August 16, 2017 – two days before its planned launch with NASA’s TDRS-M satellite, set to join the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System the agency relies on to communicate with low-orbiting spacecraft like the International Space Station and the Hubble Space Telescope. To lift TDRS-M into Geostationary Transfer Orbit, Atlas V flies in its basic 401 configuration.
