The prime crew of International Space Station Expedition 53/54 – Aleksandr Misurkin, Mark Vande Hei and Joe Acaba – along with their Soyuz MS-06 backup crew members – Anton Shkaplerov, Scott Tingle and Shannon Walker – complete ISS and Soyuz procedure training at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in August 2017 in preparation for a September liftoff on a five-month mission to ISS.
