Photos: Service Tower Retracted from Delta IV Rocket
The Mobile Service Tower is retracted to reveal the United Launch Alliance Delta IV Rocket atop its Cape Canaveral launch pad seven hours before its December 7, 2016 liftoff with the eighth satellite for the Wideband Global Satcom System – a constellation of satellites building the backbone of U.S. military communications in support of tactical operations and humanitarian aide.
