Photos: Vega Rocket Receives Payloads for Dual-Satellite Delivery Mission

The encapsulated payload stack for the Vega VV10 mission is hoisted atop the assembled Vega rocket in preparation for an August 2017 liftoff. Hidden underneath the protective payload fairing are the OPTSAT-3000 image reconnaissance satellite built by Israel for operation by the Italian defence ministry and the VENµS satellite that will complete an ecosystem remote-sensing and technology demonstration mission.
