Soyuz MS-08

An all-veteran crew of three made a nighttime liftoff from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on March 21, 2018 atop a Soyuz FG rocket to set sail on a half-year mission to the International Space Station. Commander Oleg Artemyev and NASA Flight Engineers Drew Feustel and Ricky Arnold enjoyed a flawless nine-minute ride on the venerable Soyuz booster before their Soyuz MS-08 spacecraft was set free in orbit for a two-day chase of the International Space Station. Arriving at ISS two days after launch, the three crewmen will be starting a planned stay of 158 days as part of ISS Expeditions 55 and 56.
