Photos: Soyuz Rocket launches three-man Crew toward Space Station

A Soyuz FG rocket successfully lifted a crew of three into orbit on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, blasting off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome to mark the start of a two-day link-up with the International Space Station. Commander Sergei Ryzhikov and Flight Engineers Andrei Borisenko & Shane Kimbrough will live and work in space for 130 days as part of ISS Expeditions 49/50.
