Soyuz MS-02

A crew trio from the U.S. and Russia is set for blastoff from the storied Baikonur Cosmodrome on Wednesday, October 19 beginning a two-day commute to the International Space Station with a thundering blastoff atop a Soyuz FG Rocket. Sergei Ryzhikov, Andrei Borisenko & Shane Kimbrough are set for a five-month stay on the orbiting laboratory.

Soyuz MS-02 employs the longer two-day rendezvous with ISS to complete testing of new and improved spacecraft systems.
