Photos: PSLV Rocket lifts off with Environmental Monitoring Satellite

India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Center on Wednesday, embarking on its year-closing mission to deliver the ResourceSat-2A environmental-monitoring satellite to orbit and close out another record setting year for the country’s space program.
