Photos: Soyuz Rocket blasts off from Russia with Glonass Navigation Satellite

A Soyuz 2-1B rocket lifted off from the Plestsk Cosmodrome on Sunday, embarking on a three-and-a-half-hour mission to replenish the Glonass Navigation Satellite Constellation. The 1,500-Kilogram Glonass-M No. 51 satellite was deployed to its target orbit over 19,000 Kilometers in altitude after a successful ascent mission by Soyuz and its Fregat upper stage.
