A United Launch Alliance Delta IV rocket blasts off from SLC-37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in a midnight hour launch on Friday to embark on a long ascent mission to deliver a pair of satellites for the Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program directly into a drift orbit 36,000 Kilometers above Earth.
