Photos: China’s biggest Rocket rolls out for second Launch

China’s Long March 5 Y2 rocket rolls to Launch Complex 101 at the picturesque Wenchang Satellite Launch Center on Hainan Island in preparation for a July 2017 liftoff on its second orbital flight, carrying the Shijian-18 experimental communications satellite. Shijian-18 tips the scales as the heaviest Geostationary Satellite launched by any country to date, reportedly weighing at seven metric tons – debuting the next-generation DFH-5 satellite platform the enables the high- and ultra-high performance satellites of the future.
