Photos: External Payload Preparation for HTV-6 Cargo Mission to ISS

Specialists integrate the Exposed Pallet of the Unpressurized Logistics Carrier of the HTV-6 spacecraft that will become the first of four HTV mission to deliver new Li-Ion battery Orbital Replacement Units to the International Space Station. For the flight to ISS, the Exposed Pallet hosts six Li-Ion batteries which will replace 12 of the Nickel-Hydrogen batteries currently in use on ISS, nine of which will be installed on the Exposed Pallet for disposal at the end of the HTV-6 mission.
