Video: GSLV F09 Launch with GSAT-9

India’s Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle lifted off from the Second Launch Pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Center at 11:27 UTC on May 5, 2017 on a 17-minute climb to orbit with the 2,230-Kilogram GSAT-9 communications satellite dedicated to providing various telecommunications services to India and its neighboring countries. It was the eleventh mission for the GSLV Mk. I/II and marked the fourth success in a row for the GSLV Mk. II after a major design overhaul.
