Photos: GSLV Rocket Rolls Out for GSAT-6A Launch

India’s GSLV Mk. II rocket rolls from its assembly building at the Satish Dhawan Space Center to the Second Launch Pad for final preparations for a March 2018 liftoff with the GSAT-6A communications satellite optimized for mobile connectivity for use by the government and military. GSLV F08 marks the 12th flight of the GSLV MK.I/II launch vehicle family, the sixth of the Mk. II variant and the fifth since the rocket’s 2014 comeback mission in 2014 after a major design overhaul.
