MARS Pad 0A

N-134, Wallops Island, VA 23337, USA

Pad 0A is an orbital launch site located at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport, adjacent to NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, Virginia. The site was built for the failed Conestoga that launched from Wallops only once in 1995, failing shortly after liftoff. Pad 0A underwent re-building in 2009-2011 for Orbital ATK’s Antares rocket, making its first launch from MARS in 2013. The third Antares flight, failing within seconds of leaving the ground, sent the pad back into inactive status for repairs, re-starting operations in 2016 with the re-engined Antares rocket.
