Photos: Atlas V Powerhouse Rolls out for U.S. Air Force Mission

A United Launch Alliance Atlas V 551 rocket, the most powerful version of the workhorse, rolls out to Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on April 13, 2018 in preparation for liftoff on the AFSPC-11 mission for the U.S. Air Force. AFSPC-11 hosts two payloads: the CBAS military communications satellites designed to provide relay and broadcasting functions to enhance communications between military leaders, and the EAGLE experimental platform hosting several military payloads primarily geared towards the demonstration of Space Situational Awareness systems.
